OUR PROMISE
Small acts.
Clear intentions.
DropMake Giving is a privately operated practical-help initiative. It is not a registered charity.
What we are building
A way for people to give a little cryptocurrency to support practical needs. No donations are accepted by this site. There is no Gift Aid facility and we make no claim that gifts qualify for charitable tax relief.
The planned 90 / 10 allocation
Documented receiving, conversion and payment fees are deducted first. Of the remaining net amount, 90% is allocated to practical help and 10% is operator compensation. Sender network fees are separate. For example, £100 received less £2 in actual fees leaves £98: £88.20 for practical help and £9.80 for operator compensation. This is an illustration only.
General operating costs and the operator’s own taxes are to be met from the operator’s 10%, not silently deducted from the 90%. Any different treatment required by professional advice must be disclosed before payments open. Allocation is not a claim of immediate expenditure.
How help will be chosen
Suggested uses will inform decisions but cannot guarantee a particular recipient or purchase. Before opening, we will publish selection criteria, safeguarding arrangements, treatment of unspent funds and the procedure for complaints and refunds.
Before the first gift
We must verify wallet ownership and supported networks, test payment confirmation and reconciliation, establish records and controls, and complete UK legal and tax checks. The operator’s legal identity and a working contact and complaints route must be published before donations open.
